Mason Jar Chandelier

Yes that is a huge tub of animal crackers
sitting on our table... 

Micah and I are so proud of ourselves. We made this mason jar chandelier based off of one that I saw at Pottery Barn. We worked together and didn't even argue, completed the project and we both really like how it turned out. Let us know what you think.

Easter Morning

Here are a few pictures from Easter morning. The easter bunny left baskets and a pile of eggs for us to hide... we have been asked several times why the easter bunny didn't just go ahead and hide the eggs so I guess next year the easter bunny will have to change it up and hide the eggs. Either way MJ had fun hunting the eggs and Grant had fun just being Grant.

Virginia City

Over Easter weekend we went to visit my parents. We had a great weekend celebrating my mom's birthday, my birthday and Easter.

On Saturday we went to Virginia City, it was a beautiful day. We saw an Easter parade and MJ got a new hat and I found some boots. My favorite MJ quote from the weekend: We were going into eat at an A&W for lunch on our way home and he put on his cowboy hat and says "I wonder if the allow cowboys in this restaurant." He is too funny!

Spring Time

Well it is still chilly here at Woodleaf but we are having a few spring days here and there.

Last week MJ and I made some easter egg garland out of embroidery string, balloons and watered down glue. MJ's favorite part was popping the balloon once the string was dry. When we finished MJ asked if we could make more just because he wanted to pop more balloons.
